TVET Mission to Cambodia & Laos

From June 2 to June 6, 2025, AMENA Trade & Investment Consulting GmbH is conducting a market exploration to Cambodia and Laos in cooperation with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce (AHK Vietnam) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). This is a project-related funding measure as part of the market development program for SMEs. The project is supported from the German side by iMOVE (International Marketing of Vocational Education), an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), the Didacta Association, the Association of the Education Industry and the OAV (German Asia-Pacific Business Association).In recent years, the governments in Cambodia and Laos have made considerable efforts to reform and improve the education system in order to meet the increasing demands of the global economy. These efforts include introducing new educational programs, improving curricula and increasing investment in the infrastructure of educational institutions. This opens up very good business opportunities for German providers of products and services in the education and training sector in Cambodia and Laos. The local governments have set themselves the goal of strengthening vocational and technical education and training in both countries.
