Trade Delegation to Malaysia: Industry 4.0, supply chain logistics

Project description

From 27.10. to 31.10.2025, AMENA Trade & Investment Consulting GmbH, in cooperation with the Malaysian-German Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (AHK Malaysia), is organizing a business initiation to Malaysia on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). This is a project-related funding measure as part of the market development program for SMEs. This program is supported on the German side by the OAV (German Asia-Pacific Business Association), the Labs Network Industrie 4.0 e.V., the Kompetenznetzwerk Umweltwirtschaft.NRW and the LNC LogisticsNetwork. Malaysia's economy has experienced a rapid rise in recent decades, with the exception of the Asian crisis in the late 1990s and global economic crises. Malaysia is already classified as an upper middle-income country by the World Bank. Alongside Singapore, Malaysia has been Germany's most important trading partner among the ASEAN countries for many years. Many German companies such as Volkswagen and B.Braun are taking advantage of Malaysia's strategic location and efficient trade infrastructure to serve their growing business on the Asian market. The trend towards supply chain convergence has strengthened Malaysia's role as a global hub for the logistics industry.
