TVET Mission to Vietnam, focus circular economy

Project description

Since the opening of the market economy in the 1990s, Vietnam has undergone a dynamic transformation with high growth rates and increasing urbanization. This change is leading to rising waste volumes and environmental problems, which is bringing modern waste and wastewater technologies and separate disposal systems into focus. The demand for advanced technology and engineering services in recycling and water management is opening up new business opportunities for German companies. Especially the reforms in the water and wastewater sector require skilled workers, particularly through technical equipment and training. Training and further education for operational and management staff is particularly relevant, as many Vietnamese companies are turning to in-house training to address the skill shortage.
